dot+, read through the Form + Dot house standard. The original brand book still governs dot+ in full — this page just shows where it sits in the Xhinola system it helped define.
One form, one offset dot. dot+ claims the rounded square with a solid disc in the lower-left — the disc sits on the baseline like a literal period. Same grammar as SAM; opposite choices on every variable.
Solid disc, lower-left of a rounded square. Scales down to the favicon where letters can't survive.
Inter Black, tight tracking, the leading dot drawn as a separate disc — the same disc, promoted to a letter.
The disc recolors for live moments: red while recording, blue for AI. The mark is the indicator.
Rounded square at a 22% corner radius; the disc is 28% of the width, sitting on the baseline in the lower-left quadrant. Clear space equals the disc diameter on all sides.
Monochrome by rule — pure #000000 + #FFFFFF in the mark. One accent, #E11900, lives only in the disc during capture. The icon is tuned to read down to 16px.
Disc on the baseline, lower-left. Always ink-on-paper or paper-on-ink.
Never gradient the canvas. Two flat colors, no bevels or glows.
Don't round the square into a circle — that's SAM's form, not dot+'s.
Xhinola · Form + Dot house standard for the full registry.dot+ is a capture app, so its brand lives in motion — on the lock screen, in the Dynamic Island, in a notification. The rule holds everywhere: the square-and-disc icon stays two-tone, and the disc turns red only while recording, blue only for AI. The mark is the status light.
